Sara Cano
Sara Cano is a dancer and choreographer whose styles ranges from traditional Spanish dance to contemporary dance, folklore and flamenco.
She graduated as a choreographer and interpreter of contemporary dance at the Superior Conservatory of Dance María de Ávila in Madrid. As a professional dancer, she has been part of the most prestigious companies and as a choreographer, her work focuses on the search for her own language, half traditional and half contemporary. With A Palo Seco Redux, she was awarded the first prize for solo choreography at the XXIII Spanish Dance and Flamenco Contest, and Best Musical Composition Award (Héctor González), Suma Flamenco Award and an Exchange Award for companies invited to International Contests.
