Boreal

After a few short pieces, Boreal is the first long performance from Daniel Ramos and Víctor Martin.

It originates from a short piece under the same title that was awarded with the second prize at the prestigious XXVII Certamen Coreográfico de Danza Española y Flamenco in Madrid.

The work illustrates all categories of Danza Española at its highest technical, choreographic and artistic level. Elements like the mantón, the long tailed dress and the palillos are always present.

The company aims at sharing and nurturing the artistic richness and the technical complexity of our most traditional Dance.

The performance is made of 5 pieces and is directed by Manuel Liñan (Premio Nacional de Danza 2017) who together with other top level artists has also collaborated to its choreography.

The music has been composed originally for Boreal by Victor G and David D, and shows the richness of the most traditional flamenco beats, with current notes.

Boreal is a yet another step towards cementing the career of these two young creators with yet solid and artistic maturity.
