Isabel Bayón - La puerta abierta
La Puerta Abierta ( The Open Door ), is, like Isabel Bayón's previous solo works, a performer's abode. A metaphysical room where the artist's freedom takes priority, through whose door Bayón comes and goes to freely display the internal and external. A journey on which she is accompanied, by the voices of Agujetas and La Piriñaca, who with onstage musicians, express the paradox of the Andalusian people: fatalists, they seek the meaning of their existence in the appearance of joy. Southern Spain's famous never-ending party is a celebratory response to a tragic vision of life.
