SABORES

Sabores (Flavors) is a piece without a story which invites us to taste the different palos, or styles, of flamenco music. Musical pieces are interspersed with dance during one hour and 20 minutes in which Sabores expresses the diversity of flamenco emotions.

Baras has described Sabores as "Dancing and more dancing, with the idea of giving each palo its own color and attitude.”

The two invited artists, José Serrano and Luis Ortega, are both dancers with strong stage personality. The corps de ballet consists of eight dancers. Performed live by eight musicians, the original score, composed and conducted by José María Bandera, featur two guitars, three voices (one female and two male), a violin, a flute and a range of percussion.
