Córdoba. 10th Flamenco Festival USA´s guest of honour

10th Flamenco Festival USA had a very special guest: Cordoba city (Spain). This city was the protagonist of two events that took place as part of Flamenco Festival.

On February 18th, it was the launch of 30th Anniversary of Guitar Festival of Córdoba in Instituto Cervantes (New York). This event will be from 6th to 25th July with the most important national and international talents. Among them Mark Knopfler, 'Deep Purple', Fito Páez, Joan Manuel Serrat, Paco de Lucía, Paco Peña, Javier Latorre and la Orquesta de Córdoba.

Around that date, on 19th February, due to the celebration of Cordoba Day and Flamenco Festival, the artist José Antonio Rodríguez presented his work Córdoba en el tiempo at Skirball Center (New York). This is sponsored by Instituto Municipal de Artes Escénicas (IMAE).

Flamenco Festival USA is every year unmissable event. This year it is hold in New York, Miami, Washington, Boston and Vancouver (Canada).
