Presentacion of the documentary about the life and work of Antonio Gades "La ética de la danza" ("The ethics of dance)

Flamenco Festival, in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute of New York, presented the documentary “La Ética de la Danza” about the life and work of Antonio Gades.

Eugenia Eiriz, director of the Antonio Gades Foundation and Tina Ramírez, director of the Hispanic Ballet of New York, were in charge of providing a more extensive vision of Antonio Gades.

“La Ética de la Danza” is an exciting biographical journey narrated by the late dancer in first person. Previously unrevealed secrets, unknown images and testimonies such as those of Plácido Domingo, Alicia Alonso, Cristina Hoyos, Caballero Bonald, Carlos Saura and his daughter María Esteve, who shared his life and his career as an artist. A documentary by TVE co-produced with the Antonio Gades Foundation and the State Society for Cultural Commemorations and directed by Juan Caño.
