Mujeres wins Deflamenco’s Prize as best show of the year 2008

In a survey, the public caused Mujeres to be chosen as the best show of 2008 by Deflamenco.com. The second prize for this show, which had already won the best show award at Festival de Jerez in 2007.

Mujeres, directed by Mario Maya and with baile by Merche Esmeralda, Belén Maya and Rocío Molina, has been on a tour since 2007 of all the Spanish and international stages, from Sadler’s Wells in London to the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville and the Zarzuela in Madrid, with New York’s City Center in between.
