Flamenco Festival's inauguration in New York
Yesterday, February 13th, Flamenco Festival was inaugurated in New York by Arcángel & Dorantes. The presentation took place at the NYU Skirball Theater in the presence of the Mayor of Seville, Alfredo Sanchez Monteseirin, Juan Carlos Marset, Director of the INAEM, Maribel Montaño, Cultural Delegate of Seville and Domingo Gonzalez, Director of Seville’s Bienal de Flamenco.
La Noche de Sevilla (Seville Night) also enjoyed the presence of Spain’s Ambassador to the U.N., Juan Antonio Yañez-Barnuevo, Director of Spain’s Office of Tourism, Javier Piñanes, and many others.
With every ticket sold and a warm welcome by the crowd, Arcángel and Dorantes presented a show where Flamenco Cante and Piano were the stars of the night.
