Presentation of Flamenco Festival at the NY City Center

The Antonio Gades Company inaugurated the festival at the City Center with the show “Carmen”.

The company created to perform the creations by choreographer and bailaor Antonio Gades, who died in 2004, became famous internationally with the film made by Carlos Saura in 1983.

Turismo Andaluz, sponsor of the Festival, organized its annual gala for New York’s tour operators with the attendance of over 2,000 of them who enjoyed the flamenco, as art from Andalusia
