FLAMENCO FESTIVAL NEW YORK 2023 EXTENDS TO MIAMI AND WASHINGTON DC

From March 16 to 30, Flamenco Festival New York will also visit the cities of Miami and Washington DC with seven performances by three different artists

The XXI edition of Flamenco Festival New York will extend from its permanent home in the Big Apple to Miami and Washington DC. At the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami and The Kennedy Center in Washington there will be the opportunity to enjoy shows by Sara Baras, Rafael Riqueni and Irene Lozano; a total of seven performances scheduled to thrill audiences in the cities of Washington and Florida.

The impressive Adrienne Arsht Center theater complex is located in the heart of downtown Miami. By sheer size, it is the third largest performing arts center in the United States and aims to engage and connect people from all walks of life through artistic excellence and inspiring educational experiences.

Each season showcases a robust series of touring Broadway musicals direct from New York, the largest jazz programming in South Florida, or dozens of free events that bring people from around the world together

THE KENNEDY CENTER

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is a vibrant cultural space, connecting thousands of artists with millions of people each year. In addition, its educational and outreach programs are present in all 50 states internationally. The Friends of the Kennedy Center are a group of 600 volunteers representing 58 countries and speaking 27 languages.

In this fantastic setting, Sara Baras will put the finishing touch to the XXI edition of Flamenco Festival New York on Thursday, March 30 with the last performance of her show ‘Alma‘ in North America.

Throughout its 20 years of history, Flamenco Festival has taken over almost the entire world, having presence in 101 cities, presenting 129 companies, 1.225 shows and an audience of over 1,600.000 people.
