Artistic residency: Medusa

Belen Maya, known for her powerful stage presence, and “flamenco action painter” Patricio Hidalgo, will share the results of a week of research where painting and flamenco serve as mutual inspirations. Patricio’s brushes will enter into an expressive dialogue with Belen’s sensual and innovative dance.

The residency presentation included a subsequent debate in which Belén Maya expressed: “This is a unique experience that will never be repeated, because now this work will grow to become something else, so we are going to enjoy, experiment and improvise”
